Course Objectives
Research has consistently demonstrated that when clear goals are associated with learning, the learning occurs more easily and rapidly. With that in mind, let’s review our goals for today.
By the end of this workshop, you should be able to:
- Design and develop a presentation
- Understand the role of the presenter as visual aid
- Understand how to tailor your content to the needs of your audience
- Use learning styles knowledge to adapt the presentation style according to the needs of the audience
- Use visual aids to add impact within your presentation
- Build rapport with the audience
- Handle questions and challenges from any audience
- Consider the logistics and requirements needed to prepare for a presentation, including contingency planning should things not go to plan.
