Overview

This course is designed to give delegates an overview of the various distributions of LINUX available. It is technically orientated to enable staff at all levels to have an appreciation of what LINUX is, and the various features available with the different versions.

Prerequisites

Experience of IT and an understanding of operating systems are required.

Objectives

To provide the delegate with a technical understanding of the LINUX Operating System, including its main features, the software interfaces to access it and the main-stream versions.
